Kristi Gottlob

Kristi has been a Neuromuscular Therapist for over 20 years. She has worked in the Wilmington area for over 10 years. Although Kristi has training and knowledge in several modalities her specialty is Neuromuscular Therapy. The technique is a form of Deep Tissue Massage, it is distinguished form other types of massage in that a quasi-static pressure is applied to the skin with the aim of stimulating specific areas of skeletal muscle often these areas of muscle are myofascial trigger points. This treatment focuses on imbalances in the body that may have accured from repetitive movement during work, sports and daily life. She treats the muscles from the attachments with deep pressure creating a full release. Kristi also uses intuitive touch energy in her practice. She believes creating balance in the body helps prevent serious injuries and assists in healthier muscles for mind, body, and spirit.

When Kristi isn’t working she enjoys her time with her children and sisters.

Daisy Thraikill

Daisy has been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork therapist since 2012. She is passionate about her practice and aims to customize the massage based on the clients needs. She joined our team at Blue Ginger Spa in February 2016 and feels gratitude for the client/therapist relationships  that have formed and always looks forward to working with new clients.

With training in different modalities, she most enjoys providing deep tissue and pre-natal massage. She specializes in head, neck and shoulders, helping to provide relief from chronic headaches, TMJ and sinus pressure.

She believes that stress, tension and stagnation can cause imbalances in the body and likes to use Myofascial release, passive stretching and breath work-reminding you to let go in order to get the most out of your session. While incorporating energetic work for each massage, she ‘listens to the body talk’ with focused intention, helping to bring an overall balance of body, mind and spirit.

Daisy enjoys spending free time with her son, family and friends. Some of her favorite activities include camping, enjoying live music, practicing yoga and meditation.
